Garlock’s Style 206 EZ-FLO® Expansion Joint with an ABRA-LINE® tube offers the most abrasion resistant rubber liner available in an expansion joint. This unique material has been proven to reduce wear and extend service life by causing even the most aggressive media to simply slide over the liner rather than dig in and remove material. Third party testing revealed that ABRA-LINE® expansion joints last 2-3 times longer than traditional elastomers, providing unmatched service life and return on investment.

Style 206 spool-type non-metallic piping expansion joints are manufactured with Garlock’s self-flushing flowing arch design, eliminating the media build up responsible for premature failure in other wide arch designs. This proprietary construction reduces fluid turbulence, often the culprit of catastrophic piping and equipment failure. Garlock style 206 is intended for use in dynamic, high-pressure applications where low spring rates and higher movements are a requirement.

ABRA-LINE® is Garlock’s proprietary urethane elastomer designed to reduce wear and extend service life. This unique material was developed for highly abrasive applications typically found in the power generation, fertilizer, mining, chemical, oil and gas industries. Its yellow color serves as a wear indicator and allows for easy inspection. In many cases, this material eliminates flow liners and associated gaskets, creating an easier, more cost-effective solution.

Style 206 is available in the following cover material options to protect the exterior of your expansion joint: Chlorobutyl for general service, EPDM and Fluoroelastomer for UV, ozone, water impermeability and temperatures up to 300°F. Neoprene is an excellent choice for marine use, while utility grade Nitrile is perfect for oily environments.

For added durability, all Garlock expansion joints are painted with a proprietary blue protective coating.
