Garlock Fluid Sealing Academy (GFSA) Training

Garlock offers a broad range of Garlock Fluid Sealing Academy (GFSA) training and educational courses, both at our facilities around the world, and on-site at customer locations. The two hands-on installation training programs being offered at this time are:

GFSA Level 3 - Pipe, Valve, and Pump sealing solution training (PVP)

This hands-on training is designed around sealing products used in piping, valves, and pumps used in chemical processing, hydrocarbon processing, food, pharmaceutical, and other industries. The training material focuses specifically on gasketing, compression packing, expansion joints, hydraulic components, molded rubber products, PTFE valves, and air-operated pump diaphragms.

GFSA Level 3 - Rotating Equipment sealing solutions training (RE)

This hands-on training is designed around sealing products used for bearings, electric motors, and other rotating equipment commonly found in the primary metals, wind, power, and mining industries. The training material focuses specifically on KLOZURE® oil seals, bearing isolators, and mechanical seals.

GFSA Level 1 & 2 - Online Training Courses

Prior to attending either training GFSA Level 3 training (PVP or RE), attendees must complete the GFSA Level 1 online courses on Fluid Sealing Basics and GFSA Level 2 courses required for the specific training to be attended (PVP or RE).

Clicking on the links below will take you to our training and tests for each module.  You will be required to register only when taking the actual test which is on the last page of each training module. 

The interactive simulators are additional training tools that are not required, but do provide valuable tactile training on proper gasket installation and measuring a flange assembly for an expansion joint.
