Style 1298 is intended to seal valve stems. This proprietary product employs a High Performance fiber yarn encapsulating Ni-Cr alloy wire. This yarn is braided over a LATTICE BRAID® carbon fiber core. The encapsulated Ni-Cr wire and lubrication eliminates stem wear, and the braided carbon fiber core ensures a more resilient flexible packing for long term sealing efficiency and reliability.
